The Los Angeles Rams were one of the busiest teams in the league over this offseason making several major splash moves to help build upon their promising roster.

A couple of these acquisitions saw them bring aboard All-Pro cornerbacks in Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib that should step in to immediately solidify their secondary as the starter. The new cornerback duo made their debut together in training camp in voluntary OTAs on Monday, according to Lindsay Thiry of ESPN.

The addition of these two proven defensive backs headline what could be one of the league's most formidable and deep group of cornerbacks that also include Sam Shields and Nickell Robey-Coleman.

Peters is regarded as not only being of top young players at his position but overall in the secondary behind his stellar play in coverage as a legitimate star cornerback. In his first three seasons, he earned a pair of Pro Bowl selections, a First-Team All-Pro nod, a Second-Team All-Pro selection, and earned the 2015 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

Meanwhile, Talib has established himself as one of the premier man-to-man cornerbacks over the last several seasons that he has earned five Pro Bowl selections, a First-Team All-Pro nod, and a Second-Team All-Pro selection. It should be a seamless transition for him having previously played in defensive coordinator Wade Phillips scheme with the Denver Broncos where he was a key part of the league's top defense.

There is plenty of potential for both of them to become key parts of the Rams' secondary that are backed with two rising stars at safety with Lamarcus Joyner and John Johnson that could make them one of the best units in the league. This has helped place a huge buzz around Los Angeles that may see a special 2018 campaign unfold in the coming months.
