The Los Angeles Rams were able to acquire Matthew Stafford in a trade recently and there are players who are interested in playing with him in Los Angeles. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, there were multiple players who texted Stafford after the news of his trade broke in hopes to join him on the Rams.

Despite the lack of accolades that Stafford possesses, players around the NFL see Stafford as one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league. Therefore, the thought of playing with him is an enticing one. Also, the idea of getting to play in Los Angeles isn't bad either.

Among the players who texted Stafford who are expected to show interest in joining the Rams, Marvin Jones Jr. makes a ton of sense. Besides spending time with Stafford on the Detroit Lions in the past five seasons, Jones was actually born in Los Angeles.

In addition, with Stafford becoming the starter for the Rams, Sean McVay is likely going to look to add a deep threat to the offense. Jones is a free agent this offseason and would give Los Angeles a perfect replacement for Josh Reynolds, who is expected to depart in free agency.

Last offseason, we saw multiple players flock to the idea of joining Tom Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he left the New England Patriots. Now, with Stafford becoming the new signal-caller for the Rams, there are players across the league that would love to join a Los Angeles team that is going all-in for a Super Bowl run.
