Los Angeles Rams nine-year veteran Michael Brockers will reportedly test the free-agent market this offseason. Despite having a phenomenal season in the 2019-2020 campaign, Brockers still questions his value on the market.

In a recent interview with ESPN, Brockers expressed that he's unsure how much value he has this free agency since he's playing on the same defensive line as Pro-Bowler Aaron Donald.

“That messes with me a little bit,” Brockers said. “When you play against one of the greatest 3-techniques that have ever played this game you have a skewed view on what’s good and what’s not because you have to see a guy who has double-digit sacks every year and you have a guy like me, who is a good player, but doesn’t have as many sacks. So, it’s kind of like, what’s my worth, what’s my worth in this league?”

Nevertheless, Brockers is coming off a career season, recording a career-high 63 tackles, nine quarterback hits, and three sacks with the Rams. The 29-year-old also earned an astounding 74.6 overall grade from Pro Football Focus. In addition, Brockers has managed to stay healthy in his tenure with the Rams, missing only five games in his eight-year career.

The Rams are projected to have $19 million in salary-cap space, according to Overthecap.com. Nonetheless, Brokers will most likely leave the Rams this offseason. According to ESPN’s Lindsey Thiry, “it is expected the veteran will earn a solid multiyear contract elsewhere.” Brockers’ agent will be able to discuss contract terms with the rest of the league starting on Monday at noon.
