The Los Angeles Rams just won the Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstake, and it appears like they'll need their prized signing real soon.

Initially, there were some doubts whether OBJ would suit up for the Rams when they play the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10 on Monday. Head coach Sean McVay also remained mum about it when asked on Friday, seemingly indicating that they were still assessing if the wideout is ready to play.

However according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Beckham will play against the 49ers. By the looks of it, though, it was a decision born out of necessity after it was revealed that star wideout Robert Woods suffered a torn ACL.

Woods had been a critical part of the Rams' offense, forming a lethal receiving corps with the likes of Cooper Kupp and Van Jefferson. Those three has allowed Matthew Stafford to thrive under center, with their passing game expected to be even more lethal with the arrival of OBJ.

Unfortunately with the injury, the Rams will need Beckham and the rest of the receivers to fill the void he lefts. Of course it's an opportunity for the former Cleveland Browns wideout to slide into a more prominent role, but as mentioned, it also comes with a big responsibility as his addition is no loner viewed as a luxury for the squad.

It remains to be seen how Beckham will perform on Monday, but it's clear the Rams are expecting him to quickly adapt.
