Odell Beckham Jr.'s debut with the Los Angeles Rams did not go as expected. Against the San Francisco 49ers, it was clear that both parties needed more time to adjust to each other. Now, with a full bye week to prepare and acclimate to the team, OBJ is determined to turn his performance back around.

“I’ve definitely felt that I haven’t been in that flow that I would have normally stayed in with a regular schedule,” Beckham said. “So just trying to get back into that, find my way back to where I know I could be.”

OBJ's first game as a Rams wide receiver was a classic case of two parties meeting each other for the first time. He was targeted only 3 times by quarterback Matthew Stafford. Beckham Jr. caught two of those passes for 18 yards, but it's clear that the star WR will need to be more involved in the Rams offense for him to come back to form.

Speaking of Stafford, Odell Beckham Jr. had high praise for the star quarterback.

“You run the route, be where you need to be, he’s [Stafford] going to make the throw and that’s all that really matters,”

Sunday's tilt against the Packers will be a baptism of fire for OBJ and the Rams. While Aaron Rodgers has stolen the show for Green Bay, their defense is no slouch either despite the injuries. A statement performance from Odell Beckham Jr. will likely cement his future with the Rams and solidify their status as one of the top teams in the league.
