Odell Beckham Jr. officially got off the mark for the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday after scoring his first touchdown for his new team. It was a momentous occasion for the 29-year-old but as it appears, it may have come at quite a cost.

According to reports, the Rams wide receiver has come out of Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers with a rather concerning back injury (h/t Josina Anderson of CBS Sports):

Beckham looked like the OBJ of old after scoring his first Rams touchdown off of a 50-yard pass from Matthew Stafford. Beckham caught the ball on the 20-yard line and from there, he had a free path to the endzone.

OBJ went 5-of-10 on his targets for 81 yards and one touchdown and while he didn't exactly have an eye-popping performance for the Rams, Beckham was still able to contribute for his team in a big way.

It remains unclear if Beckham's current injury will force him to sit out a couple of games for the Rams, but the fact that he's currently experiencing “a lot of pain” does not bode well. The good news, however, is that this does not sound like a serious injury.

The Rams return to action on Sunday as they face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
