The Los Angeles Rams will be facing off against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night and will have star running back Todd Gurley at their disposal. Gurley missed the last several weeks with a knee injury.

Gurley missed games against the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals, but C.J. Anderson filled in admirably for Gurley and the Rams cruised passed both division rival teams. Rams posted 48 points against the 49ers and clearly, the offense is carrying fantastic momentum into the playoffs. The offense is scary with Gurley on the field as he provides versatility, speed, and pass-catching ability. Gurley is nearly impossible to game plan for when the Rams use him to his full capability.

Since the Rams are at home for their upcoming matchup with the Cowboys and will hope to make it past the first round after getting bounced early next season against the Atlanta Falcons. They have to be counting their lucky stars as they will surely need Gurley to compete against a young and fast Cowboys defense.

Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith will likely be keeping a watchful eye on Gurley throughout the game, but that's what makes Gurley such a threat. Even if opposing teams provide extra coverage on Gurley, the Rams have such dangerous weapons to make it downfield regardless. Gurley may not always rack up yards, but he is a sure bet to score at will. Gurley had 21 total touchdowns in 2018 which is more than a lot of starting quarterbacks had. Gurley will look to bounce back after missing the last two games of the season and will likely be rejuvenated in his return.
