The Los Angeles Rams realize how important Robert Woods is to the offense. Recently, the Rams gave Woods a raise for the next two seasons due to his contributions to the offense.

After receiving his raise, Robert Woods has advice for players who want to get paid big money. The Rams wideout even brought up Picasso when discussing how players can get paid.

“If you perfect your craft, you’re going to get paid for it, just like Picasso,” Woods said, via the Los Angeles Times. “This out here is an art. I feel like if I perfect my routes and my game, it will be worth a lot of money.”

Heading into 2019, Woods is entering the third year of his five-year deal that he signed with the Rams in 2017. As the Rams began their training camp, the organization gave Woods a raise for the next two seasons.

In 2019, Woods was given a $1 million increase while he will receive an extra $2 million in 2020. Sean McVay knows that Woods is a key reason for the offense's success in the past two seasons.

Last season, Woods had a career-year with 86 receptions for 1,219 yards and six touchdowns. His play alongside Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp helped lead Los Angeles to having the fifth-best passing offense in 2018.

Woods was able to fill the stat sheet with phenomenal numbers but what makes Woods so versatile is his ability to do the things that most receivers don't like doing. Los Angeles loves running the ball and Woods is one of the league's best blocking wide receivers.

After spending two seasons with the Rams, Woods knows that his work off of the field has helped him earn more money with his current team.
