With Cooper Kupp returning from a torn ACL and preparing to join a receiving corps that includes Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, and Josh Reynolds, defenses around the league are likely panicking.

That's because the Rams may very well have the deepest group of wide receivers in the league, and Woods calls it a “four-headed monster.”

“We have a lot of receivers making key plays,” Woods said, according to Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com. “Cause Josh has been making plays, but just to get Cooper back in it … four different styles of receivers and four different ways to attack your defense.”

Kupp played just half of the 2018 campaign before tearing his ACL, and up until that point, he had hauled in 40 receptions for 566 yards and six touchdowns. So, if he would have stayed healthy, it's entirely possible Los Angeles would have had three 1,000-yard receivers.

And with Reynolds emerging as a legitimate threat, the Rams now have coverage in case of another injury in 2019.

“You don't know, you never know,” said Woods. “Whether it's a rotation or whether it's an injury. … You never know who it's going to be, and at this point it doesn't matter who it's going to be.”

Woods is coming off of a season in which he caught 86 passes for 1,219 yards and six scores in what was, by far, the best year of his career, helping the Rams make it all the way to the Super Bowl.

Los Angeles won 12 games and captured the NFC West division title this past year.
