Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods, who missed last week's win over the Chicago Bears for personal reasons, returned to the field on Monday night before the NFC West's tilt with the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.

The NFL Network's Steve Wyche recorded Woods working out on the field prior to kickoff, commenting that “all indications are that he is a go” for tonight's matchup with the Ravens.

Woods, 27, is a seven-year veteran wideout at 6'0″ who tallied over 1,200 receiving yards during the 2018 Rams season en route to a Super Bowl berth. Woods had appeared in every game this season for L.A. before missing last week's game due to a personal reason. Despite production dropping a bit in 2019—he has 566 yards on 45 receptions, without scoring a touchdown in the air—Woods is a core member of L.A.'s wide receiver corps and immediately provides an impact player for franchise quarterback Jared Goff to throw to should he be back in the lineup.

Woods is competing in his third season with the Rams after starting his career with the Buffalo Bills for four years. Woods is signed to a five-year contract with L.A.

Despite coming off a Super Bowl loss earlier this year, the Rams are struggling to find consistency this season, going 6-4 with tonight's matchup against the intimidating Ravens on deck. Woods' presence on offense will be a big boost for the Rams should they attempt a late-season run here.

Earlier this week Woods commented on the positive support of his teammates, per Kevin Modesti of the Los Angeles Daily News:

“I just appreciate the Rams organization allowing me to deal with my family matters, allowing me to keep this personal,” Woods said. “[It] felt good to be back out there, being back with the guys and the team. I’m just taking it day by day, working towards being prepared for Monday night.”

Woods appears mentally and physically ready to play Monday night against Baltimore in a must-win game for L.A.
