The Los Angeles Rams gutted out a 23-20 win on the road over the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon that saw second-year wide receiver Cooper Kupp suffer an MCL sprain.

This has put his status up in the air for Week 7 action against the San Francisco 49ers as head coach Sean McVay voiced on Monday that Kupp may likely miss the contest depending on his leg responds to the injury over the next several days, according to Linsday Thiry of ESPN.

There doesn't appear to be too much urgency to get Kupp back onto the field for the game given the type of injury that he's dealing with that could linger if not handled properly.

Kupp has been a major part of their offense over his first two seasons in the league that has seen that taken up a notch this year as he has 30 catches for 438 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He is currently on pace to get notch 80 receptions for 1,168 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

Los Angeles has the luxury of letting the situation play itself out as he the team has two other highly dependable wide receivers on the roster with Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods that can pick up the slack with Kupp out.

Woods is on pace to put together a career-best campaign with 96 catches for 1,397 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Cooks has quickly fit into the mold with his big-play ability as he has 28 catches for 505 receiving yards and touchdown. Star running back Todd Gurley could also factor more greatly into the passing game as well if needed.

Ultimately, the Rams will continue to monitor the situation as the week rolls along to determine Kupp's status for Sunday's game.
