Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has had to answer questions about star running back Todd Gurley's knee since the tail-end of last season and continues to do so during training camp.

So when asked whether he gets tired of constantly addressing Gurley's knee, McVay shared his honest response.

“I do,” McVay told reporters on Tuesday when asked whether he gets tired of questions about Gurley’s knee per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. “And you know what? With a player of his caliber that’s as special as he is, that’s to be expected. He’s in a good place and we feel good about Todd right now.”

Gurley's knee has been a topic of conversation ever since he suffered an injury late last season. He was never quite the same since, particularly in the NFC Championship Game and the Super Bowl. There have been reports that his knee is now arthritic, although Gurley himself has not confirmed those claims.

Gurley himself joked to reporters recently that they should stop putting “bad energy” on his knee. However, that is unlikely to be the case. After putting together back-to-back amazing seasons of at least 1,800 yards from scrimmage and close to 20 touchdowns, it is of great interest to know whether Gurley's knee is right.

There will likely be even more questions about Gurley for McVay to answer if the running back plays more as he did during the playoffs than he did during the early portion of the season. That's just the reality he lives in and he'll need to get used to it.
