Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray may just be a rookie, but he already shown flashes of being a terrific player, as he has thrown for 2,703 yards, 14 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 64.6 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 91.2 through 11 games. In addition, he has rushed for 418 yards and three scores while averaging 6.1 yards per carry.

But while the jury is still largely out on Murray, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay thinks that the Cardinals have already found their franchise signal-caller moving forward:

“He already is [a franchise quarterback],” said McVay on Friday ahead of his team's matchup with Arizona this weekend, according to Mike Jurecki of the Cardinals' team website. “If you look at the way he has played, I think it’s hard to argue that he’s not already that.”

McVay added that it has been “unbelievable to watch his play-making ability” and that “there are no limitations” to what Murray can do, calling him “fun” and “dynamic.”

Murray, who played his collegiate football at the University of Oklahoma, was selected by the Cardinals with the first overall pick of the NFL Draft back in April.

Of course, at the time, Josh Rosen was under center for Arizona after the club had drafted him 10th overall the year prior, but the Cards fell in love with Murray and traded Rosen to the Miami Dolphins in order to make room for him.

The Cardinals have lost four games in a row and are just 3-7-1 on the season, but they seem to be in good hands with Murray.
