The Los Angeles Rams made the move to bring wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to town following his release from the Cleveland Browns. Beckham debuted for his new team in Week 10, and LA had a Bye in Week 11, during which OBJ had a chance to get more familiar with the offense.

With a matchup against the Green Bay Packers on the docket for Week 12, head coach Sean McVay has revealed the Rams' plans for Beckham on Sunday. According to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry, McVay said that the Rams expect their new addition to play a big role against the Packers.

OBJ was targeted three times in the Week 10 loss to the 49ers. He caught two passes for 18 yards in the game, featuring on just 27% of the offensive snaps. His limited role was to be expected, as he'd just been acquired earlier in the week. Now that he's had time to acclimate to his new surroundings, McVay is looking to feed the star wide receiver.

Beckham will need to adapt to his new offense quickly, as the loss of Robert Woods to an ACL injury only furthers LA's need for the 29-year-old to be an immediate difference-maker. He failed to do that in Cleveland, hauling in 19 receptions on 37 targets from Baker Mayfield for just 250 yards this season.

Perhaps playing alongside Matthew Stafford will help elevate Beckham's game back to the level it was at during his prime with the New York Giants. Stafford quickly developed a strong rapport with Rams wideout Cooper Kupp, so perhaps he and Beckham can achieve a similar connection on the field. We'll find out this weekend when OBJ hopefully is on the field for his usual volume of snaps.
