Odell Beckham Jr. has been really successful in his stint under Sean McVay with the Los Angeles Rams so far. The problem is: he is only under contract this season.

To recall, Beckham signed a one-year deal with the Rams after his exit from the Cleveland Browns last November 2021. That decision has certainly paid off, with him not only winning his first playoff game in the Wild Card last weekend but also making history in the process.

Beckham's partnership with the Rams is undoubtedly a match made in football heaven, and for McVay, it is clear they need to keep OBJ beyond this season. The Rams coach said as much on Friday ahead of their showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, noting that Beckham is a “great teammate.”

As Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic noted, the LA franchise has long been interested in keeping Beckham beyond just one year ever since he landed on the team.

With the way he is thriving with the Rams, it might also be on Odell Beckham Jr.'s best interest to stay in LA. In six regular season games with Cleveland in the 2021 campaign, he failed to register even one receiving touchdown. Meanwhile, in eight appearances for Sean McVay's group prior to the playoffs, he made five receiving TDs.

In their win over the Arizona Cardinals in the Wild Card, he was a key weapon for Matthew Stafford and ended up with four receptions for 54 yards and one TD.

Hopefully, the partnership really extends no matter what happens in the postseason.
