If there is one offensive player who is well familiar with Los Angeles Rams outside linebacker Von Miller’s prowess in the playoffs, it sure is Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski.

The four-time Super Bowl-winning tight end faced off against Miller twice while with the New England Patriots, including in the 2015 AFC Championship Game. Gronkowski was a stout performer in each game, as he combined for 289 receiving yards and four touchdown receptions.

Still, Gronkowski did have a front-row seat to watch Miller's sheer dominance as a pass rusher thanks to the combined six quarterback hits and 2.5 sacks in the two contests.

In speaking during a press conference on Wednesday, Gronkowski took some time to laud Miller’s legacy and just what makes him one of the more formidable linebackers of this era.

“Von is a great player,” Gronkowski said. “I played against him many times when he was out in Denver. He's super quick. He can shoot off the ball at any time and just brings another dynamic to that defense. They can set that edge out there with Von and get that pass rush out there.

“He brings a lot of pressure to the game – a lot of pressure he brings to the offense because he's quick and he can get to a quarterback really fast.”

Miller is just coming off of a stout performance in the Rams’ NFC wild-card win over the Arizona Cardinals, as he recorded six tackles and one sack.

Gronkowski may see Miller a multitude of times this week, whether in coverage or in the run-blocking game.
