Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley has missed the last two weeks because of knee inflammation and he is excited to finally see how his knee will respond this weekend. It's unclear how hurt Gurley really was and if he would have been able to go if the Rams needed him but the organization decided to sit him. Gurley has gotten a ton of questions about his knee the last couple of weeks and the star running back is ready to just prove it on the field and have the questions go away.

“I haven’t been on the field in the last two weeks, so it’s like ‘Why is Todd not on the field? It’s his knee, so we want to know how his knee is doing and get an update,’” Gurley told reporters Wednesday when asked if he was tired of questions about his knee via Pro Football Talk. “Then, I don’t have to keep getting tweets and Instagrams all day. They could just watch this video, see how my knee is doing. They’re either going to believe it or think I’m lying. It’s cool. It’s cool.

“I’m really just eager to get back on the field and then just see how it responds. Then, hopefully we have some new questions next week and not about the knee.”

Gurley did say his knee is feeling good, and he is ready to go. Coach Sean McVay did say that he wanted to get a healthy dose of both Gurley and CJ Anderson who has done a really good job filling in the last few weeks.

Whoever the Rams decide to lean on is going to have their hands full against a stout Cowboys run defense.
