Todd Gurley and the Los Angeles Rams are one of the top teams in the NFL this season. After getting off to a hot start, the Rams have not shown signs of slowing down. Los Angeles not only appears to be a Super Bowl contender, but they have one of the most high-powered offenses that the league has seen in recent years.

A big part of the reason for their success this season has been the play of their superstar running back. He has been an absolute workhorse and the best running back in the league. Gurley is even being talked about as a potential candidate to win the NFL MVP award this season.

That being said, Gurley has officially made it known that he has one goal on his mind right now. His main individual goal would be to win the NFL rushing title, after not pulling off the win last season.

Gurley opened up about that goal in an interview shared by Pro Football Talk from the Los Angeles Times.

“Yeah, I was lying, I really did care about the title. That would be a pretty cool thing to get. I tell people that all the time: It’s like you play for team goals but who wouldn’t want to be the NFL sack leader? Who wouldn’t want to be the NFL passing or rushing leader?”

At this point in the season, Gurley is leading the league in rushing with 1,175 yards. Ezekiel Elliott is right behind him in second place with 1,149 yards.

Los Angeles has also seen Gurley become a touchdown machine this season. In addition to his 1,175 yards on 233 carries, Gurley has scored 15 touchdowns on the ground. He has also caught 46 passes for 474 yards and four touchdowns on the season.

Expect to see the Rams continue feeding Gurley the football as the last four games of the season play on. He has been an absolute monster this season and that isn't going to change anytime soon.
