Since last year's Super Bowl, the talk surrounding the Los Angeles Rams has been centered around Todd Gurley's knee. The Rams running back is tired of talking about it though.

While speaking to the media after the Rams first practice in training camp, Gurley told reporters to “stop putting this bad energy on my knee“. As much as he wants to stop talking about his knee, reporters aren't going to stop bringing it up.

Last season, Gurley seemed primed for another great season where he remained healthy. Although, a knee injury slowed down Gurley during the back half of the season.

As a result, Los Angeles signed C.J. Anderson to handle some of the workload while Gurley rested his knee. When the playoffs began, it seemed as if his knee was nearly one-hundred percent as he gashed the Dallas Cowboys for 115 yards and a touchdown in the NFC Divisional Round.

Then, in the NFC Championship and in the Super Bowl, Gurley touched the ball just 16 times in the two biggest games of the season. This prompted the media and fans alike to ask what was wrong with the Rams running back.

It was reported earlier this offseason that Gurley has an arthritic component to his knee. Coach Sean McVay acknowledged it and said the team will lighten his workload moving forward.

The Rams also traded up to draft Darrell Henderson in the third round of this year's draft. This was another sign to fans that Gurley's knee may be an issue in the future.

As much as Gurley doesn't want to talk about his knee, he's really bothered with the negative connotation that the media is giving to his knee. The Rams running back let that be known to reporters after Saturday's practice.
