There is uncertainty surrounding the MLB on whether there will be a season in 2020. Walker Buehler, a starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, jokingly shot his shot in possibly joining the Los Angeles Rams next season. Bryce Harper probably chuckled.

In recent weeks — as the Rams might know — the MLB has been (loosely) discussing terms with the players on a possible start to the 2020 season. However, the MLB and the players have been unable to agree upon reasonable terms.

It has been reported that the MLB and its owners want the players to take reduced salaries in the upcoming season. Despite the owners' desires, the players don't seem to be willing to take less money in 2020. And deservedly so. Rams players almost certainly would agree.

Therefore, with all of the turmoil happening in baseball, some players have jokingly shared their interest in playing in the NFL. Just a couple of days after Bryce Harper joked about joining the Philadelphia Eagles, Buehler is poking fun at joining the Rams.

Seeing that Jared Goff was given a lucrative contract in 2019, Buehler wouldn't be able to show off his arm with the Rams. Perhaps the up-and-coming pitcher could join the special-teams unit in Los Angeles though.

Earlier this offseason, the Rams allowed Greg Zuerlein to join the Dallas Cowboys. While Johnny Hekker is one of the league's best punters, Los Angeles is going to be holding a kicking competition in training camp and the preseason. If the MLB is unable to come to terms soon, don't be surprised if Buehler is sporting a helmet instead of a baseball cap in 2020.
