After struggling in their first game of the season, the Los Angeles Rams look to be back on track. The team now has back-to-back wins and is 2-1 for the first time since Jeff Fisher took over.

The most impressive part of back-to-back wins is the variety in them. Their first win came in a gritty game against a division foe; it was all defense in that one. Yesterday, they were able to hold off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by putting on a show on offense.

It marked the first time the Los Angeles Rams have scored a touchdown since December 24, 1994. They were able to get their stud running back Todd Gurley going again and worked in some good moves from Tavon Austin.

Despite all of the criticism for not starting rookie Jared Goff, it appears to be working out for them. The team will need to keep stretching the field if they want to find success. They should get two rookie wide receivers back next week, which will help them do so.

More good news for the Rams? According to Alden Gonzalez of ESPN, the Rams are the first team since the 2003 New England Patriots to win back-to-back games after being shut out in game one. That Patriots team went on to win 14 games and win the Super Bowl. Saying the Rams are going to do that would be crazy, but it proves that you shouldn't overreact after Week 1. The Rams have talent on their team; it is all about putting it together.

The Rams do currently sit at first in the NFC West. The team is tied with the Seahawks at 2-1 but have the tiebreaker over them because of their Week 2 win.

The Rams will have a good test this coming Sunday as they take on the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are not only a division rival, they are a team that many predicted to go to the Super Bowl. The Cardinals are struggling right now though, sitting at only 1-2.

The Rams will have their work cut out for them as the Cardinals look to not fall behind in the division early this season. A win this week and a 3-1 start to the season could mean big dividends for Los Angeles. After they play the Cardinals, L.A. has three winnable games against the Bills, Lions, and Giants.
