Antonio Brown is considered one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Despite that, he's still a free agent.

A lot of that has to do with his off-the-field issues. Brown forced his way off multiple teams in the past two years and only ended up playing in one game in 2019.

Now he is suspended for eight games, and that's just another reason for teams to have pause when considering adding the elite talent.

Los Angeles Rams legend and NFL Hall of Fame member Isaac Bruce wants his old team to sign the wide receiver, though.

Bruce knows a little bit about being good at wide receiver. According to Jordan Dajani of CBS Sports, Bruce believes Brown would take the Rams to a “different level.”

“Absolutely,” Bruce responded when asked if the Rams should pursue Brown. “I mean, you're talking about one of the premier wide receivers from the past decade that we have, a guy that was very productive and a guy that has started to make the 180-degree turn that's required to be a part of this team — which I feel he wants to be. We've done some things in the past, reached out and got guys that other people thought were controversial and brought them in the fold. I think (general manager) Les Snead should reach out, see the interest, and bring him in at least for a workout.

“He's a hard-worker, great work ethic, he's very productive like I mentioned, and I think he'll challenge the people in his room and take the Rams to a different level.

“I think football has probably been a part of his life since his youth,” said Bruce. “Just to have that taken away from him, that tends to make a person sit down and just reflect on career choices, life choices and just the results and the fruit that you bore. So, I think from that standpoint anybody being in their right mind can make the life adjustments to do something that they love to do.”

Bruce talks about a few things here. Obviously, there is the skill level of Brown. You simply don't find players of his caliber often. Before all the craziness started happening, Brown was set to go down as one of the greatest of all time.

Next, Bruce talks about the turn around that Brown is in right now. He believes the current wide receiver is getting back on the right track. And if he is of healthy mind and body, Brown elevates any team he is on.

Finally, Bruce talks about the hard work that Brown puts in. Brown might have his off field issues, but he has never been lazy. He is constantly striving to be the best and be a better version of himself on the field every day.

Los Angeles was in the Super Bowl in 2018, but fell flat in 2019 and missed the playoffs. Could adding Brown put them right back in the Super Bowl mix? It seems Bruce believes so.
