Jared Goff has taken his game to a new level this season for the Los Angeles Rams, proving that the team finally has a legitimate franchise quarterback. Not only has he been having a big season individually, but he has also led the Rams to an undefeated record through six weeks. That has landed him in the NFL history books.

According to ESPN Stats & Info on Twitter, Goff is just the third quarterback ever to start the season 6-0 under the age of 25. That is an impressive feat for the Rams' third-year quarterback.

Dan Marino and Daunte Culpepper had great careers themselves. Goff being mentioned in the same group as them should excite the Rams even more about the future of their young quarterback.

Throughout the first six games of the season, Goff has completed 69.1 percent of his pass attempts for 1,928 yards, 12 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Those numbers have taken him from being a quarterback that could be something special, to one of the rising stars in the league.

Los Angeles appears to be the team to beat in the NFC at this point in the season. Things could change, but they do not seem to have a big weakness. Assuming they stay healthy, the Rams have an excellent shot at winning the NFC and making a trip to the Super Bowl.

Goff certainly is proving his critics wrong this season. After a slow development period, Goff is finally living up to the hype that he had coming out of California when the Rams made him the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Expect to see Goff continue his hot streak and force his way into the MVP conversation when everything is said and done this season.
