Los Angeles Rams rookie running back Cam Akers scored his first career touchdown on Monday night, allowing the Rams to take the lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the midpoint of the third quarter.

Here's a look at what appears to be the first of many touchdowns for Akers (via NFL on Twitter):

Thanks to Akers' heads up play, the Rams were able to take a 24-17 advantage over the Rams.

It is also worth noting that Monday night's contest between the Rams and the Bucs made history by fielding the first-ever all-Black officiating crew in the history of the sport.

The Rams are came into Monday's matchup following a 23-16 win against the Seattle Seahawks from Week 10. They are looking to make it back-to-back wins against the Bucs.
