Four-year NFL veteran A'Shawn Robinson has reached a two-year deal worth $17 million to sign with the Los Angeles Rams.

After agreeing to the contract, Robinson and the Rams announced the signing with a fun Twitter video that included Robinson being the “credible source” for his own signing.

A second-round pick in 2016 out of Alabama, A'Shawn Robinson has started 37 games over his first four seasons in the league. In 2019, the 6-foot-4, 330-pound defensive lineman recorded 40 tackles, three tackles for a loss and two fumble recoveries for the Detroit Lions.

The 24-year-old will be able to help a Rams defense that ranked 17th in the NFL in points allowed per game (22.8). It is worth noting that LA failed to make the playoffs after making a Super Bowl appearance the season prior.

Robinson will join a Rams D-line group that includes All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald, Sebastian Joseph-Day and Greg Gaines with Morgan Fox possibly returning as a restricted free agent.
