The NFL schedule has been released which means it's time to breakdown some of the biggest games that will take place this upcoming season. Let's rank the top ten games that you need to make sure you are in front of a TV to watch.

10. Washington Redskins @ Minnesota Vikings Week Eight

The Washington Redskins make the trip to US Bank Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night football in week eight and it's a game filled with all kinds of storylines. If Case Keenum is the starting quarterback he can get a little revenge against the Vikings and it might be Adrian Peterson's last game in Minnesota. This also is the first time that Kirk Cousins will go against his former team.

9. Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears Week One

The NFL season will kick off with the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears facing off celebrating the 100th anniversary of the NFL. This is a good chance to see how exactly Matt LaFleur plans to use Aaron Rodgers and who really is in charge of the team. It also is a huge game in an NFC conference that is expected to be ultra competitive.

8. Pittsburgh Steelers @ New York Jets Week 16

If this game was being played in Pittsburgh it would be probably closer to the top of the list but this is still a revenge game for Le'Veon Bell. The biggest story surrounding this game might actually be after the game though when the two teams greet each other. Will Bell and Big Ben talk to each other? Or will they do everything in their power to stay far away?

7. Dallas Cowboys @ New England Patriots Week 12

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to be a playoff team this year and if they want to compete they need to win big games late in the season. What better way to test that then go on the road in week 12 to Gillette Stadium to take on Tom Brady and Patriots.

6. Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs Week Five

It's Patrick Mahomes going up against Andrew Luck and if both of these guys stay in the AFC it could be the big battle the next ten years. This is also a chance for Luck and the Colts to try and get some revenge after being blown out in the playoffs. This game is going to be quite the quarterback battle and it's a game you aren't going to want to miss.

5. Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers Week 11 and Week 17

The AFC West is expected to come down to Patrick Mahomes and Phillip Rivers and these two teams are going to go a long way in deciding which of these teams comes away with the crown. Rivers also proved last year that he still has a lot to give to the NFL and these should be too high powered offensive games.

4. Kansas City Chiefs @ New England Patriots Week 14

Patrick Mahomes is already one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and will be going against one of the best quarterbacks of all time in Tom Brady. We aren't going to get many more of these matchups, and there is a chance this is the last one, so we need to enjoy the ones we have left.

3. Los Angeles Rams @ Dallas Cowboys Week 15

This is two good offenses and in a competitive NFC, there is a good chance this game could go a long way in deciding which team gets a higher seed in the playoffs. It's also going to be another late-season game that has a lot of pressure, something Dak Prescott still needs to prove he can deal with.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots Week One

The Steelers and the Patriots kick off the season against each other and this should be a good test on how good the Steelers are going to be. If the Steelers can win this game they can prove that maybe they can still compete this season in the AFC.

1.New Orleans Saints @ Los Angeles Rams Week Two

The Saints feel like they got screwed in the NFC championship game on a missed pass interference call that would have sent them to the Super Bowl instead of the Rams. This is a chance for them to get a little revenge but this also should be an entertaining game with a ton of points scored.
