Besides free agency and the 2020 NFL Draft, another of the most interesting aspects of this NFL offseason has been the unveiling of new uniforms for certain teams. Altogether, seven NFL teams chose to make some minor or major tweaks to their uniforms in 2020.

Of course, as they prepare to open SoFi Stadium next season, the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers decided to rebrand themselves. In addition, Tom Brady's former and current teams โ€” the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers โ€” revealed new threads.

Also, the Atlanta Falcons chose to create a new look with their uniforms for the upcoming season. Lastly, the Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns made some minor, but effective alterations to their uniforms. All that being said, here are the seven new uniforms, ranked from best to worst.

1. Los Angeles Chargers

Again, the Chargers are gearing up to join the Rams in opening SoFi Stadium in 2020. With a new era set to begin, the Chargers elected to go with a fresh look with their uniforms next season.

Similar to other teams, the Chargers decided to stay true to some of their previous team colors. By doing so, the Chargers stuck with the powder blue jerseys, which are arguably the best in the NFL.

In addition, the all-white uniforms with the powder blue accents, along with the navy blue uniforms are a home-run for the Chargers. Without a doubt, the Chargers came away as winners with their new looks.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With the Buccaneers landing Brady in free agency, it was time for them to go in a different direction for their uniforms. Instead of completely scrapping their previous uniforms, Tampa Bay paid homage to the teams that had the most success in their franchise's history.

It is apparent that the Buccaneers made a slight twist to the uniforms that they wore in the early 2000s. Just a season ago, Tampa Bay wore uniforms that featured numbers that looked like ones from a digital alarm clock.

However, the new uniforms have numbers that look a bit more enticing. At the same time, the new pewter uniforms have a nice, sleek look that was an instant hit with fans.

3. Indianapolis Colts

For the Colts, they decided to add a new secondary logo, which is the letter โ€˜C' with the state of Indiana infused into it. Besides the secondary logo, Indianapolis made some slight alterations to their uniforms, particularly the fonts.

Even before the changes, the Colts had decent uniforms with a nice color scheme of blue and white. While keeping the same color scheme, Indianapolis made some subtle adjustments, creating a fantastic new look for the upcoming season.

4. Cleveland Browns

Similar to the Colts, the Browns didn't completely overhaul their uniforms. Rather than create an entirely different set of gear, Cleveland chose to revert back to previous threads and keep some of their more recent tweaks.

Of course, with their primary colors being brown, orange and white, it's not easy to make a particularly elegant set of uniforms. However, the decision to return to the vintage look was an outstanding choice by the Browns.

5. Los Angeles Rams

The most recent and final uniform release came from the Rams, causing some fans to question the new look. Unlike some of the other teams. the Rams went in a completely different direction with their new logos and uniforms.

At the least, the Rams kept the blue and yellow colorways as they head to SoFi Stadium. On the other hand, the new bone/bone uniforms are unique and look phenomenal. While it would've been better to keep the throwback look, the Rams did better with their uniforms than most seem to believe.

6. New England Patriots

Even before Brady departed from New England, the Patriots planned on revealing new uniforms this offseason. But with Brady no longer with the team, it's fitting that the Patriots are starting fresh under center and with the uniforms they'll be wearing.

Essentially, the Patriots are moving forward with their color rush uniforms as their primary threads. While the navy blue uniforms aren't terrible looking, it's hard to get on board with the red stripes โ€” that look similar to the Chicago Bears' color rush uniforms โ€” on the shoulders.

7. Atlanta Falcons

Last but not least, the Falcons absolutely dropped the ball with their new uniforms. With a remarkable color scheme of black and red, plus past uniforms that compete for the best of all-time, Atlanta still chose to unveil a brand new set of gear for this season.

Out of all of the new uniforms, the Falcons are the most generic-looking uniforms the team could possibly create. While the Rams inserted a gradient on their numbers that looks good, the red gradient on Atlanta's alternate jerseys is a questionable decision.
