To say that Fox Sports basketball analyst Colin Cowherd is a skeptic would be an understatement. Most recently, the 55-year-old radio host set his sights on Toronto Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard and explained why he just doesn't think the former Finals MVP is as good as most people believe him to be.

Cowherd is indeed one of the most polarizing personalities in the world of basketball, and his recent statement here will not sit well with Raptors fans, and probably even the general public.

Case in point would be Leonard's outstanding performance in Game 4 of his team's Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 27-year-old All-Star dropped a game-high 39 points on 13-of-20 shooting, along with five three-pointers, 14 rebounds, and five assists, as he led his team to a 101-96 victory against the Sixers.

This has been the theme for Kawhi in his first postseason with the Raptors, with the two-time Defensive Player of the Year winner currently averaging an astounding 32.3 points (on 58.7 percent shooting), 3.0 three-pointers, 7.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.4 blocks in nine playoff games for Toronto thus far. He has certainly elevated his game of late, proving that he remains to be one of the best players in the game today.

To be fair to Cowherd, though, he did not exactly understate Leonard's abilities. He just said that he doesn't believe that Kawhi is the second-best player in the NBA right now next to Kevin Durant. There is a matter of reigning MVP James Harden — for one — so perhaps Cowherd is not exactly being too harsh with his statement here.
