Toronto Raptors shooting guard Danny Green appreciates head coach Nick Nurse for trusting him in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.

Nurse ran a play for Green in the second overtime and Green delivered by hitting a clutch 3-pointer. The Raptors guard was 0-for-8 at the time, so Green was surprised Nurse ran a play for him.

The veteran guard says it felt good that Nurse trusted him to hit that big shot when he was struggling the whole game.

Green is one of the best shooters in the NBA, but for whatever reason, he's been struggling with his shot lately. Green is shooting just 26.1 percent from beyond the arc over his last five games in the playoffs. If the Raptors want to win Game 4 and ultimately the series against the Bucks, they are going to need Green to snap out of his shooting slump as soon as possible.

Green shot 45.5 percent from the 3-point line during the regular season while averaging 10.3 points per game. If the sharpshooter can find his shooting stroke, the Raptors become that much more dangerous on offense. Game 4 of the Raptors-Bucks series is on Tuesday in Toronto. Let's see if Green can have a classic shooting game for Toronto.
