Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard has spent his entire NBA career playing alongside shooting guard Danny Green, as the two were shipped together in a trade that sent DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poeltl to San Antonio. Despite the comfort level Green has around Leonard, a rather quiet individual, he's not fond of the “whisperer” label that came along after spending most of his playing days with the star forward.

“I get it from everyone in the organization,”  Green told Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated. “It’s ‘How’s Kawhi, does he like it here?’ Man, I don’t f***ing know. You have to ask him if he likes it. I think he likes it. But you have to ask him.”

Leonard keeps to himself for most of the time. He's an introverted individual who doesn't share much about himself, even if presented with the question, and his introductory press conference was a sign of the awkwardness involved in talking about himself (cue Kawhi god-awful laugh).

Green previously said in one of his podcasts that Leonard had every intention of remaining with the Spurs and coming back to play next to his teammates, but that prediction didn't age well, as Leonard's representatives soon enough aired his desire to be traded out of San Antonio.

Green might be the closest and most familiar with the star forward, but not even he knows what goes on inside his head, as Leonard likely only reserves his deepest of thoughts for his family and representatives.

Good luck cracking that riddle.
