According to Blake Murphy of The Athletic, the Toronto Raptors have listed shooting guard Danny Green as probable for their game against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday due to left hand soreness.

Green was icing his hand following their narrow 121-119 loss at the hands of the Houston Rockets on Friday. Nonetheless, he finished the game with 22 points, knocking down six triples, while adding a rebound, an assist, and a block in 31 minutes of play.

It wasn't clear where or when he injured the hand, but the Raptors opted to send the veteran guard for an MRI on Saturday for pre-cautonary measures. Results of the evaluation have yet to be released, though.

The Raptors have been cautious with their players all season. If Green still experiences soreness prior to Sunday night's match-up, it is highly likely that they will give him the night off to rest up his hand. If Green does figure to miss the game, look for guys like Delon Wright, C.J. Miles, and Norman Powell to pick up the slack.

Green has been the forgotten man in the trade that sent Kawhi Leonard to Toronto. But so far this season, he has proved that he is just as valuable as a 3-and-D option for the Raptors on the wings. In 49 appearances this year, the 31-year old is averaging 10.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and is shooting 44.2 percent from the field, and 42 percent from deep.

Green will have to stay healthy as he has become a key piece in Toronto's bid for a championship run this season.
