Kawhi Leonard sent the Toronto Raptors to the Eastern Conference Finals courtesy of a ridiculous buzzer-beater in Game 7 of his team's second-round Eastern Conference playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night, and while the Raptors only had 4.2 seconds remaining to get a shot off and Leonard just launched his shot before time expired, Toronto guard Danny Green felt like it took forever.

Not only that, but Green thought the jumper was short, and it actually was, as it hit the front of the rim and bounced around the basket four times overall before eventually falling:

“Then it got one bounce [on the rim],” Green said, according to Andrew Sharp of Sports Illustrated. “And it was like, ‘OK.’ Then the second bounce it was, ‘Oh (expletive). We might have a chance here.’ It probably bounced like four or five times. It seemed like it was 30 seconds, even though it was probably only like 0.8 seconds. Then once it went in, everybody was just ridiculously excited. The whole building. I think there are still people yelling out there.”

Leonard ended up scoring 41 points in the win, with 15 coming in the fourth quarter. He also added eight rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Both Leonard and Green have tasted this type of success and more before, as the two wings were teammates on the San Antonio Spurs from 2011 through 2018 and went to four Western Conference Finals and two NBA Finals, winning a championship in 2014.

Could they add another title to their resumes? That's the goal, and they're not worried about what may happen this offseason:

“Right now we're still enjoying the moment and trying to win a championship,” said Green when asked about what could happen this summer. “We're focused on the here-and-now. We'll worry about that later. Obviously what happens with the here and now may dictate what happens later, but we're going to enjoy each other, be in this moment.”

Kawhi Leonard is a free agent this summer, and many believe he's going to leave Toronto, but nobody on the Raptors is concerning themselves with that right now.
