The NBA regular season schedule has yet to be announced, but on Friday afternoon, Shams Charania of The Vertical has reported that Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors will be visiting San Antonio to take on the Spurs on January 3, 2019.

This game might be the most anticipated games of the year, as the long-time Spur in Leonard will be returning to the place he started his career. Leonard and the Spurs made a pair of NBA Finals appearances in 2013 and 2014, winning the latter with Leonard being named the Finals MVP.

Leonard finished his Spurs career averaging 16.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists ,1.8 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 1.3 three-pointers per game on 49.5 percent shooting from the field and 38.6 percent from beyond the arc.

More to come…
