Rapper and Toronto Raptors global ambassador Drake is offering his free health care to Raptors backup guard Fred VanVleet.

VanVleet lost a part of his tooth in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Friday after taking a vicious hit to the face by Warriors guard Shaun Livingston. VanVleet had to get seven stitches under his right eye in the locker room.

Reminder: Canada is one of the many, many countries that offers its citizens publicly-funded health care.

The Raptors are one win away from winning their first championship in franchise history. VanVleet scored eight points in Game 4 in 28 minutes before exiting the contest to get the stitches. He's averaging 12.8 points in the Finals while shooting 45.2 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 71.4 percent from the free-throw line. VanVleet's most important contributions in this series have come on the other end, where he's been by far Toronto's best defender of Steph Curry.

What kind of ambassador and superfan would Drake be if he didn't offer his free health care to VanVleet? The rapper has been very animated throughout the Raptors' 2019 playoff run. He's essentially part of the team. One can imagine how crazy Drake is going to be in Game 5 up in Toronto. He was going berserk on social media on Friday after the Raptors won Game 4.

VanVleet will surely get a standing ovation from the Toronto crowd in Game 5 when he checks into the game. Raptors fans appreciate the Illinois native putting his body on the line.
