The NBA Playoffs truly bring out the intensity and passion out of not only the players, but also the fans – most notably, the celebrity fans.

Through the years – with the exception of the New York Knicks' Spike Lee and Los Angeles Lakers' Jack Nicholson who remain fixtures on the arena of their beloved teams – we have seen a plethora of notable faces in the crowd (or in the media) all trying to fire up the series.

Back in 2007, we saw a LeBron James and DeShawn Stevenson feud heat up as rappers Jay Z and Soulja Boy found themselves repping each player in the midst of the third straight meeting between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Washington Wizards. Last year, LeBron had some celebrity backup once again in singer Rihanna as she got into it with the Golden State Warriors' Kevin Durant.

This postseason, Kevin Hart has been on a grueling back and forth with Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade that also involved his wife, actress Gabrielle Union. And with rapper Drake being a hardcore Toronto Raptors fan, it was only a matter of time before he entered the fray as well seeing as his Raptors are now in the second round against the Cavaliers.

After a classic Game 1 that saw the Cavaliers stealing a close overtime win against the Raptors (spearheaded by James' triple double), there was action in the tunnel as Drake exchanged words with veteran center Kendrick Perkins. The 33 year-old journeyman later clarified to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski via text what exactly happened between him and the famed rapper.

Drake then responded on Instagram, commenting on a post about Perkins' response with his own.

“I just said I like the hem on his capris,” joked Drake.

The Cavs ended up getting the last laugh with the Game 1 victory, but they'll have to do it again on Thursday night in Game 2. A win on Thursday night would put them in a great position to return home for a chance to sweep the number one seeded Raptors.
