A new Toronto Raptors bromance is blossoming right before our very eyes and it looks like it's going to be DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry all over again. Gary Trent Jr. drained a game-winning triple against the Washington Wizards on Monday and Raptors fans are gushing over OG Anunoby's post-game reaction to the epic buzzer-beater.

The humble beginnings of their bromance began almost instantly when the Raptors acquired Trent Jr. from the Portland Trail Blazers. Trent Jr. revealed he and Anunoby spoke nearly their entire first flight together as teammates, which lasted over two hours. The two instantly hit their stride with NBA 2K as their talking point and the two seem to have become inseparable since.

Trent Jr.'s shot was truly epic as he nailed a coast-to-coast triple to propel Toronto to the 103-101 victory. After the Wizards failed to pad on their lead with 6.1 seconds remaining, the 6-foot-5Ā  guard retrieved possession for the Raptors. Trent Jr. then raced down the floor, got to his spot at the top of the arc, rose up, and drilled the 3-pointer to get his, ā€œWelcome to Torontoā€ moment.

It hasn't taken long for Trent Jr. to get acclimated with his new squad. In six games so far since getting traded, the former 2nd round pick is averaging 16.7 points while shooting 44.8 percent from the field and 41.9 percent from deep. Furthermore, Trent Jr. admitted that he already can't wait to play in front of Toronto fans with the amount of love he has already received from them.
