The Toronto Raptors have been healthy for most of the season, but on Friday night, they will be without backup point guard Fred Van Vleet in Game 3 against the Washington Wizards, per Wizards.com writer Zach Rosen. Van Vleet has been dealing with a shoulder injury over the last couple of weeks, and it looks like after a brief return last game, he's not well enough to play.

Van Vleet missed Game 1, and only played three minutes in Toronto's blowout victory in Game 2. The Raptors, however, have faired well with guard Delon Wright putting up 18 points, four assists, and three steals in Game 1, followed by 11 points, three assists, three steals, and two blocked shots in Game 2.

Van Vleet has really taken a step forward in his second year in the NBA, even becoming the team's Sixth Man in a way, averaging 8.6 points, 3.2 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game in 76 regular season games.

Van Vleet will be considered day-to-day moving forward and could have a chance to play in Game 4 on Sunday evening.
