The Toronto Raptors are just one of the many NBA teams dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak, and now Fred VanVleet and Malachi Flynn are the latest to enter the league's health and safety protocols, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. They join Pascal Siakam, Gary Trent Jr. and Dalano Banton as the other Raptors in protocols.

Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reports the Raptors are adding Tremont Waters on a 10-day hardship deal.

Toronto has had two games postponed in the last week due to other teams' COVID outbreaks, first the Chicago Bulls game last Thursday and then Monday's scheduled contest against the Orlando Magic. The Raptors are set to play the Bulls in Chicago on Wednesday, but they'll do so very shorthanded. Losing their floor general in VanVleet is tough, as he's leading the team in scoring (20.1) and assists (6.7).

OG Anunoby did just return from a month-long hiatus, but it's still tough to be without so many other key players. Toronto will need Anunoby and rookie Scottie Barnes to play starring roles to have a chance against the Bulls, who are shorthanded as well without Zach LaVine and others. However, Chicago is on a two-game winning streak and did just get DeMar DeRozan back.

The Raptors are currently 14-15 on the season and hanging around at the bottom of the play-in picture.
