Fred VanVleet came up with a big performance on Saturday night as the Toronto Raptors took down a Stephen Curry-less Golden State Warriors side. The 27-year-old was three rebounds shy of a triple-double so, naturally, VanVleet just had to take a shot at Los Angeles Lakers star Russell Westbrook right after his heroic effort.

When asked about narrowly missing out on a triple-double, the Raptors guard decided to take a blatant shot at Westbrook's rather contentious style of play:

“My teammates don't give me the Westbrook treatment and get out the way, so I'm gonna have to have a word with them,” VanVleet said, via NBA Central on Twitter.

FVV was surely just joking around, but there's no denying that he took a jab at Westbrook with his comment here. The Raptors guard was implying that Russ' teammates usually go out of their way to help Westbrook reach his triple-doubles. Russ is one of the greatest stat-stuffers we've ever seen pick up a basketball, and his all-time triple-double record serves as a clear testament to this fact.

VanVleet finished Saturday's win with 27 points (on 9-of-17 shooting) to go along with seven rebounds, 12 assists, three steals, and, amazingly, zero turnovers. He also went 6-of-10 from distance as the Raptors logged their third win in the last four games.
