On Monday at the Toronto Raptors' championship parade, Kawhi Leonard confirmed what we already knew; that he was playing through an injury in the postseason.

Leonard appeared to have suffered a left knee injury in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks on a breakaway dunk. The superstar forward reportedly was dealing with tendinitis in his knee.

Leonard says his Raptors teammates were all playing through pain as well and that it was worth it since they won the championship.

The good news is that Leonard won't require surgery. The two-time Finals MVP will just have to get rest and stem treatment and he should be good to go moving forward.

Kawhi was a man among boys in the 2019 postseason. He averaged 30.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists while shooting 49.0 percent from the floor, 37.9 percent from beyond the arc and 88.4 percent from the free-throw line. Leonard scored at least 30 points 14 times in the playoffs for the Raptors.

With Kevin Durant recovering from an Achilles injury, Leonard will be the most sought-after free agent this summer. The Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers, along with the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks, will pursue Leonard, who becomes an unrestricted free agent once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Raptors.
