Toronto Raptors star small forward Kawhi Leonard is very pleased with how the organization has managed his health this season.

Leonard has played in 49 games this campaign and been held out of back-to-backs all year.

The Raptors are trying to reach the NBA Finals this season for the first time in franchise history. To accomplish that goal, they will need Kawhi Leonard to be 100 percent and fresh for the postseason.

Everyone knows what happened last season with Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs.

Leonard only played in nine games due to a serious quadriceps injury. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year reportedly wasn't happy with how the Spurs managed his injury, prompting Kawhi to request a trade from San Antonio last summer.

People around the league were very curious to see how Leonard was going to look this season and he hasn't disappointed. The three-time All-Star is averaging 27.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 49.9 percent from the field, 35.4 percent from beyond the arc and 86.0 percent from the free-throw line.

Leonard has 12 double-doubles on the season and reminded everyone he is still one of the best players in the NBA. The 27-year-old becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Raptors.
