Kawhi Leonard may have sent the Toronto Raptors into the Eastern Conference Finals with one of the greatest shots in Raptors – and NBA – history, but with the Raptors now officially moving on, it’s time for even Leonard to forget about the moment and prepare for what’s to come.

Speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow’s Game 1 between the Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks, Leonard told Harrison D. Sanford that it was time to move on from the moment. According to Leonard, he credited his time on the San Antonio Spurs as to why he’s been able to handle the high-pressure moments like Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

It’s lucky for the Raptors that they have someone as even-keeled as Leonard, too, because they’ll need someone like that in this next series. Although the Raptors finished the regular season with the leagues second best record, they’ll now be facing a Bucks team that has been one of the NBA’s best teams throughout the entire season and into the postseason.

While both teams have been the clear cut best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Bucks have managed to continually look good throughout nearly every game.

After sweeping the Detroit Pistons, the Bucks made quick work of the Boston Celtics, and have so far lost just one game in their quest for an NBA championship. For the Raptors, this is just their second trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in franchise history, and with it they’ll be looking to make it to their first ever NBA Finals.
