The Toronto Raptors are scheduled to face the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night, but it sounds like the Raptors might once again be without the services of Kawhi Leonard, who has been dealing with a minor ankle injury.

According to a report from Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports, the Raptors have listed Leonard as questionable for Wednesday's game due to left ankle soreness.

Leonard, now 27 years of age, has missed the past two games with the same ankle issue, so there is a good chance Toronto will continue to err on the side of caution with his return.

Without a doubt, Leonard is the important piece of Toronto's rotation. In his seven appearances with the team this season, the former San Diego State standout has racked up averages of 26.1 points on 50.4 percent shooting from the field (44.8 percent from beyond the arc), 7.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.0 steals in 34.0 minutes per outing.

If Leonard is unable to play in Wednesday night's game, OG Anunoby will likely see an uptick in usage rate. Anunoby got the starting nod at small forward against the Utah Jazz earlier this week, putting up 17 points, one rebound, and two steals in 25 minutes of action.

Serge Ibaka, who racked up a career-high 34 points in Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Lakers, says he can't wait to see Leonard at 100 percent.

“Man, that boy … I don't even think he's 100 percent yet,” Ibaka tells theScore. “I just can't wait to see him at 100 percent. It's going to be scary. He gives us a lot on both ends of the floor.”

The Raptors are off to a hot start this season. In fact, Toronto is currently holding a 10-1 record, which is good for the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference.

Wednesday night's Raptors-Kings matchup is scheduled to tip inside the Golden 1 Center at 10:00 p.m. ET.
