It's a potential NBA Finals preview Thursday, as Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors host Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors in a battle of two of the best teams in the NBA.

Thursday will be the first time Kawhi Leonard faces off against the Warriors since he injured his foot in the 2017 playoffs against them. And the two-time Defensive Player of the Year is looking forward to playing against the team many believe will win the championship again this year.

“Just going out there and playing that team, just knowing what they did the last three years, it's always a great matchup to go out and play a competitive game,” Kawhi Leonard told reporters.

Leonard and the Raptors are 18-4 on the season — the best record in the NBA. After only playing in nine games last season due a lingering quadriceps injury with the San Antonio Spurs, Leonard is showing the world that he is still one of the best players in the league.

The two-time All-Star is averaging 24.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game and shooting 47.4 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 82.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Leonard will likely be matched up with Durant on Thursday, and there's no doubt basketball fans are raring to see the two superstars go head to head.
