Toronto Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard is taking this season one game at a time, and it's clearly working as he has helped lead the Raptors to a 18-4 record. The Raptors lead the East and are already being praised as the representatives for the East in the NBA Finals this season, but Leonard isn't buying that hype yet ahead of a potential NBA Finals preview against Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors.
Kawhi not feeding the hype train for tomorrow's game against Warriors. Did indicate he embraces the challenge of guarding a future Hall of Famer like Kevin Durant.

Kawhi Leonard is playing at an elite level for Toronto this season after a whole new change of scenery. After spending seven seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, Leonard now has a new head coach, new teammates, new fan base, and an entirely new city to represent. Leonard seems to be fitting into his new role with the Raptors admirably alongside All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry. The Raptors look like a force to be reckoned with in the East going forward, and barring any injuries, they could easily see the NBA Finals as a realistic possibility.
"Just another regular season game," Kawhi Leonard says of tomorrow's Warriors-Raptors showdown on TNT. "Just another challenge… I pretty much look forward to playing any game that I play. If it's not KD, it's somebody else."

For now, Leonard is focused on the short-term goal of facing the Warriors on this upcoming Thursday evening in Toronto. Leonard is no stranger to facing off against superstar Kevin Durant, and the Raptors star will need to break every trick out of his defensive bag to contain Durant.
The matchup between these two teams could certainly be a preview of the NBA Finals, but Leonard isn't worried about that yet. Kawhi Leonard will do all he can to fend off the defending champs in Toronto to keep up the Raptors' lead in the East.
