You know how love fans love reading into every little detail in free agency? “Oh, so and so followed Team X on Twitter,” or, “Oh, this guy liked a post from the cousin of the trainer of Player X!” Well, fans are now going crazy over Kawhi Leonard apparently buying moving boxes at a Home Depot in Toronto:

In case you haven't heard, Kawhi Leonard is set to be a free agent this summer, and even though he just won a title in his first season with the Toronto Raptors, word on the street is that Leonard still has his sights set on the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Raptors acquired Leonard in a blockbuster trade with the San Antonio Spurs last offseason, knowing full well the risk of trading for the 27-year-old, who was seen by every team outside of Los Angeles to be a flight risk.

Still, the hope was that Toronto could be so successful this season that it could ultimately convince Kawhi to stay. Well, it's hard to be more successful than winning a championship, but reports thus far have not boded all that well for the Raptors.

Leonard grew up in California, so he is said to favor the West Coast.

The two-time Finals MVP (he also won a title with the Spurs back in 2014) averaged 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.8 steals over 34.0 minutes per game while shooting 49.6 percent from the floor, 37.1 percent from 3-point range and 85.4 percent from the free-throw line this season.

I'm sure this won't be the first instance where fans make a big deal out of Leonard doing something so ordinary this summer. If Raptors fans want to be positive, perhaps he was buying these boxes for a move into a more permanent Toronto home.
