Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry is now the franchise leader in playoff points.

Lowry accomplished the feat in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

Lowry is playing in his 66th playoff game with the Raptors on Thursday. He has career postseason averages of 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 6.2 assists with Toronto.

Lowry does struggle in playoff games sometimes, but he's been fairly consistent in the 2019 postseason. He came into Thursday averaging 14.4 points while shooting 44.1 percent from the field and 34.7 percent from beyond the arc.

The Raptors are trying to make the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history. For that to happen, Lowry, small forward Kawhi Leonard, center Marc Gasol and power forward Serge Ibaka all have to play at a high level, especially on the road in Milwaukee.

When it's all said and done, Lowry is going to go down as one of the best players in Raptors franchise history. He's the franchise leader in steals, offensive win shares, overall win shares and 3-pointers made.

There's been talk if Leonard leaves the Raptors this summer in free agency that the Raptors might consider trading Lowry to embark on a full rebuild. Toronto fans are hoping Leonard stays so they don't have to say goodbye to DeMar DeRozan and Lowry in back to back summers.
