All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry remains a doubt for the Toronto Raptors when they play the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday at home.

Kyle Lowry has missed the previous two games due to back spasms, and it appears like he hasn't improved that much. He last played on Dec. 12 against the Golden State Warriors and finished with 23 points and 12 assists in 38 minutes. Toronto beat the Dubs by a final score of 113-93.

According to Raptors coach Nick Nurse, per Ryan Wolstat of Canoe.com, Lowry didn't participate in the team's recent practice. Nurse also said that the 32-year-old as “maybe more questionable than probable.”

In 29 games for the Raptors this season, Lowry is averaging a double-double of 14.2 points and 10.0 assists. The four-time All-Star is shooting 43.6 percent from the field, 33.0 percent from beyond the arc and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Raptors are 23-9 on the year, the best record in the NBA. However, Toronto has lost its last two games with Kyle Lowry out of the lineup. They succumbed to the Portland Trail Blazers by six and to the Denver Nuggets by nine.

Fred VanVleet scored 21 points and dished out eight assists against the Trail Blazers, but he didn't play versus the Nuggets due to soreness in his back. The Raptors are obviously a much better team with Lowry, boasting an offensive rating of 123.1 when he is on the floor. That rating drops to 104.6 when he's on the bench.
