Toronto Raptors superstar Kyle Lowry is heading to the blockchain to release his own NFT project called ‘Through My Eyes'. Lowry's new NFT collection, done in partnership with Canadian artist Corbin Portillo, is his way of thanking the city of Toronto and celebrating the glorious 2019 championship run that was spearheaded by the court general.

Through My Eyes drops on Tuesday, June 29 at 6:30 PM EST:

The collection will be featuring seven unique pieces that pay homage to Lowry's unforgettable journey as part of the Raptors franchise which was perfectly capped off with an amazing championship run in 2019, defeating Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and the rest of the Golden State Warriors in six games.

Lowry wanted to commemorate that run through the project and, more specifically, the historic parade in and around the city that ended up in Nathan Phillips Square.

“June 13, 2019 will always go down as the greatest moment of my basketball career on the court. But when it comes to a day that showed me what it means to love a team and unify an entire nation, it will be that historic Monday, June 17 2019,” Lowry wrote on the site. “On the two-year anniversary of the parade, I wanted to reflect on the moments that meant so much to me. The events of that day are encapsulated in 7 signature moments that summed up all the thoughts that were racing through my mind throughout the parade,”

As part of the collection, there will be one NFT that is 1/1 which will be categorized as an Ultra-Rare, three of which will be limited editions and the last three will be open limited editions. Each NFT also comes with a voice note of Lowry, explaining the thought process behind each design.
