Kyle Lowry and Marcus Smart are in the midst of an intense battle on the court, but the Toronto Raptors All-Star still offered high praise for the Boston Celtics guard. Speaking to reporters after their series tying Game 4 win, Lowry acknowledged that Smart is just doing his job by playing hard and that certainly warrants a high level of respect.

The two scrappy guards have been going at it all series long. From sacrificing their bodies, diving on the floor for loose balls, getting to the ground to draw offensive fouls, and clawing and fighting for their respective squads, Kyle Lowry and Marcus Smart have been giving everything they have so far. Heck, the two have even gone as far as the acting route to get some of the calls their way.

Nonetheless, while it has been a feisty battle between Kyle Lowry and Smart, both of them are just doing what they can to help lead their teams to victory.

Kyle Lowry had another tremendous outing in Game 4. The 6-time All-Star scored 23 points, fought for 11 rebounds, and dished out seven assists. He also found the stroke from beyond the arc on Saturday night, dropping four three-pointers after making just three through the first three games of the series.

Smart, meanwhile, went back down to earth from long range after channeling his inner Ray Allen in Games 1 and 2, where he made a combined 11 triples. This includes a fourth quarter explosion in Game 2 where he drained five three-pointers in the fourth quarter.

With this series down to a virtual best of three, Kyle Lowry and Marcus Smart will certainly continue clawing and fighting to help lead their team to the conference finals.
